Fjara Creative is the home of the design and illustration work of Hilary Tricker, a British designer currently based in Iceland. She enjoys being out in the Icelandic nature and this is the primary inspiration for her artwork: local landscapes, wildlife, and traditional buildings, realised in a "digital linocut" style that plays with the challenges and simplicity of positive and negative space.
“Fjara” is an Icelandic word for beach. Hilary grew up near the sea in the UK and now happily lives right next to one of southern Iceland’s black volcanic beaches.
